Mark your calendar today to participate in The Scholastic Book Fair being hosted by the San Saba Elementary Library! The Fair will be open Monday through Friday, February, 8-12, 8 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.

If you are a parent, friend or grandparent of an elementary student, make your plans now to stop by and enjoy the excitement of this annual event which focuses on encouraging students to read.

Each student who brings an adult to the library during Tuesday’s Family Night Event from 4-6 p.m. will be greeted by "Ms. Shelia" owner of Funshine Entertainment and receive one of her creative balloon figures. On Thursday, from Noon until 2 p.m. "Ms. Shelia" will create a colorful face painting for each child who brings an adult family member. Throughout the week "Ms. Shelia" along with her very special friend, Mr. Teddy Bear, will be reading to all the classes. Mr. Teddy will be giving Beary Big Valentine’s Day Hugs to all the children.

There will also be $100.00 worth of books available for Door Prizes. Come do your Valentine’s Day shopping with us and enjoy the excitement of reading. See you at the Book Fair!
