Miss Christine Michele Manning and (Marcus) Lane Garrett were joyfully united in marriage on January 19, 2010, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon in Brownwood, Texas. Christine is the daughter of Jeff and Susie Sloan of San Saba, Texas, and Curt and Carolyn Manning of Okemos, Michigan. She is the granddaughter of Pat and James Reavis of San Saba, Texas, and Jacqueline and Clark Manning, Sr., of Westchester, Pennsylvania. Lane is the son of Penny and Marcus Garrett of Austin, Texas. He is the grandson of Elaine and Joe Bob Simmons of Kingsland, Texas and Donna and Dewight Littleton. Christine is currently working on her teacher's certification from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, and plans to teach elementary school. Lane is currently enrolled in Howard Payne University with a major in journalism. The couple resides in Brownwood, Texas, and they are planning a cruise to the Bahamas in the spring.
