Dear Editor,

On Tuesday, January 26, 2010, the Department of State Health Services brought a free H1N1 clinic to San Saba County. By the end of the day, approximately 75 people (adults and children) had received their ‘swine flu’ shot and those numbers are good. But this letter is to thank all the volunteers that gave of their time to help with the clinic and while there is always the chance that I might leave someone out, it will only be due to my bad memory and not through any fault of their own.

A big thanks to: Connie Adams, Linnise Arfsten, Barbara Grimes, Sandra Key, Missy King, Wymond Kraft, Glenda McGehee, Daisy and Bill McHorse, Nell and George McHorse, Cathi Miles, Janie Potts, Herminia Rojas, and Linda Starnes. Once, again, this community stepped forth and helped its neighbors.

Sincerely,

Marsha B. Hardy
