A Red Dress Day program will be presented to the public at Goldthwaite's First United Methodist Church February 1st at 6:00 p.m.
The program, organized by Kaye Clancey, the Church's Wesleyan Nurse, is being held in observance of Red Dress Month in February to bring awareness to cardiovascular disease in women.
The guest speaker for the evening will be Betty Griffin, a Goldthwaite resident who underwent history-making heart surgery at the age of eighteen.
