The Wallace Creek Extension Education Club met Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Rylander Library.

President Lynn Blankenship called the meeting to order. The roll call was "What is your best 4-H memory?" There were not many memories other than working with 4-H children. The minutes were read by Doris Cates. Treasurer Imogene Hawkins gave the treasurers report. The council delegate was absent at the council meeting. Lynn Blankenship gave the report. The May Event planning meeting will be held January 28 at 10 a.m. at the Rylander Library with Lynn and Doris being representatives. The Spring District meeting will be April 6 in San Angelo. Margie Osborn will be a delegate to attend. The District Leadership Training will be held in San Saba County in November, details will be issued at a later date.

The club lost a long time member over the holidays, Anne Sanford. The members voted to make a memorial to the San Saba County EMS in Anne's memory. She will surely be missed.

Some of the members turned in their volunteer hours for October to January.

The meeting adjourned.

Hostess Lynn Blankenship served delicious refreshments while our program speaker was getting ready.

The next meeting will be February 18th at the Rylander Library.
