Ladies at the First United Methodist Church invite the ladies of the county to the first Fellowship of Christian Women’s Luncheon for 2010. The "Ladies Choice" luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. next Thursday, January 28th, in the fellowship hall downstairs.

Ladies in their 70’s will be treated and other ages are encouraged to bring any covered dish to share around the serving tables as fellowship is enjoyed.

A nursery can be available if you call Sharon Hayes in advance, for her to make arrangements.

Mrs. Lynn M. has agreed to come and share an overview of the Al-Anon organization. Al-Anon is a support group for people affected by alcoholism of friends and family. Although non-denominational, Al-Anon has a tradition of holding the meetings at church buildings to help minister to those in recovery. Lynn wants us to know there are resources here in San Saba County available for those dealing with alcoholism of loved ones.
