The Richland Springs Playday Association (RSPA) has been the successful host of playdays for the past two years. In 2008, RSPA began the first playday series, which was a buckle series. The Board and Committee members were very excited to be able to give away not one, but two saddles during the R.S.P.A. 2009 Saddle Series.

On November 14, 2009, the RSPA Committee and Board Members honored all participants of the R.S.P.A. 2009 Saddle Series with an awards banquet and Bar-B-Que Supper. Each contestant that participated in at least 75% of the playdays, qualified and received a prize.

Each division Champion & Reserve Champion received a custom trophy buckle, 3

LEADLINE:

Payton Garrett- 141 points,

rd place contestants were awarded trophy breast collars & 4th place contestants received Trophy headstalls. All other contestants were awarded custom bronc halters. Custom Trophy saddles from Corriente Saddlery went to the overall high point cowgirl and cowboy from all divisions. Elizabeth Bryant, daughter of Bill and Carol Bryant of Richland Springs, and Chris and Lewann Turner of San Saba, was the proud cowgirl who received the honors. Stran Schilling of Llano and son of James and Tana Schilling was the honorable cowboy.
