Richland Springs varsity football wrapped up bi-district play with a 54-6 victory over the Gustine Tigers on Friday, November 13th at 7:30 p.m. at Bangs’ Field. We would like to thank all the Bangs’ personnel who made us feel very welcome. Bangs has great facilities and great hospitality!

The Coyotes will play Saint Jo at Hico at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 20th. Ticket prices for the game are $5 for adults and $5 for students. The Richland Springs Coyotes are the designated home team and Richland Springs’ fans will sit on the home-team side. Cheerleading sponsor Pam Starr and the varsity cheerleaders invite everyone to school at 3:40 p.m. on Friday to give the football players an enthusiastic send-off.

The Lady Coyotes basketball team won by a score of 45-43 against Gustine at the Gustine gym on Saturday, November 14th. The girls played at Junction on Tuesday, November 17th. They will host Brookesmith at Richland Springs on Nov. 21st at 6:00 p.m. The Lady Coyotes will host Blanket at Richland Springs’ gym on Monday, November 23rd at 8:00 a.m.; and Gustine at Richland Springs’ gym on Tuesday, November 24th at 12:00 noon. Come out and support our young athletes.

Richland Springs’ students and staff have an early release on Tuesday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving holidays. Buses will run at 12:54 p.m. on Tuesday.
