The Simpson Creek Extension Education Club of San Saba County met at the lovely home of Sherri Cradduck on Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Members present were Janis Bull, Marcie Cooper, Sherri Cradduck, Bonnie Harkey, Carol Littlefield, Patsy McConnell, Louise Oswald, Barbara Porter, Jeanne Sauer, and Vicki Stevenson.

Our "roll call" question was "Name an 'old time' health remedy." Some very good answers were presented by each member such as Vick's Vaporub for chest and throat problems, mustard plasters for bronchitis attacks, coal oil treatments for cuts, aloe vera plant juice for burns and several more interesting remedies.

Carolyn McDowell presented a very entertaining video regarding home decorating ideas.

After the meeting adjourned all members enjoyed delicious and scrumptious desserts and snacks provided by hostess Sherri Cradduck.
