GENESIS 2:7 "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul."

It may be impossible for any man to explain the existence of the Eternal Triune Godhead, but that is exactly what I will attempt to do in this writing. Christians are familiar with the expressions of body, soul, and spirit. But a spiritual understanding may never be possible unless the basic truth of the Triune Godhead is accepted. Scripture teaches the absolute truth there is but one Supreme God and there is none other. (Isaiah 45:22) "Look unto Me and be saved, all ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else." Spiritual growth permits people to visualize God occupying three different offices in the spiritual realm: namely as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost: but only one God as a Triune Entity. It becomes very interesting to know men and women were created in the image of God, which makes them also Triune.(Genesis 1:26 "And God said, let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness.") People can be recognized as a man, a husband, or a father, but only one person. Women can be described as a woman, a wife or a mother, but only one person. But a more mature understanding could identify them as souls, bodies, and spirits which makes them Triune as created by God. I think the best possible description of people is: they are souls with a spirit and live in a body.A sincere study will conclude that man does not have a soul; but that he is, a living soul. When God breathed into the nostrils of man and gave him life, God actually gave man a part of Himself and anything of God is eternal and cannot die. Consequently your soul will spend enternity somewhere, and that will be wherever you choose.

Although unfortunate and hard to believe, your soul and spirit can be divided. Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit.)Your soul and spirit are not the same and disobedience to the word of God can separate them. We should know that sharp sword is the Holy Spirit of God. He can cut you away from the world to let you live with God, or He can cut you away from God and let you die the death of your spirit. (Mark 5:8 "Jesus said, come out of the man, thou unclean spirit."-12 "And all the devils besought Him saying, send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.")This is proof that spirits can and do live in animals. Some of them are vicious and mean and others are gentle and trustworthy. Spirits affect men the same way, and some neglect to protect the righteous spirit that all are given at birth. No person was born to be a homosexual or lesbian, but evil spirits can enter their bodies and control them with compulsive desires that cannot be controlled. The only solution to overcome this is to invite the spirit of God into their hearts and life. Many former homosexuals have publically testified that when they found Christ and became a Christian, their homosexual desires vanished. (2 Cor.3:17 "Therefore if a man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away: all things are become new.) Perhaps contrary to the thinking of many, neither your body or your soul changes when you accept Christ as Savior, but God gives you a complete new spirit that will guide you from earthly life to heaven. Your body and spirit remain the same, but your new spirit gives you righteous thoughts to assure your eternal destiny when they are chosen. Study this until you can make wise decisions.
