The San Saba County Pecan Growers and Texas AgriLife Extension are gearing up for the annual Pecan Show.

You are invited and encouraged to enter your pecan varieties in this years show. Please bring your entries to the Extension office in the Courthouse on or before November 25th.

A sample is comprised of 40 pecans. If you do not know the variety there will be people available to classify them. A grower can enter as many varieties as they choose but only one entry per variety.

Entries will be processed on Monday afternoon, November 30th, beginning at 1:00 p.m. You are welcome to come help process entries on Monday and observe the judging on Tuesday.

Bill Ree, Extension Pecan Specialist, will be here Tuesday morning to judge this year’s entries. Please contact the Extension office (372-5416) with any questions.
