Dear Editor,

In the last nine months or so, we have been informed by the current administration to dis-abuse ourselves of the following:

That we are one nation under God, built up on the framework of Christian principles that marriage is an institution established by God, between one man and one woman! That "anything" is anyone's fault! That any state that spends itself into oblivion is responsible for consequences thereof. "That there are consequences!" That the private sector can do better, for less cost, what the bureaucrats fail to do.

That parents are responsible for teaching their children right from wrong. "That there is right and wrong!" That is should not depend on "what is, is whether a child in the mothers womb lives or dies, or on the pay grade of those in authority.

You might ask-How did it come to this? The deepest chasm between the two parties in recent memory! We do know, that it's not about the Democrats and it's not about Republicans-what it is about, is holding on to our Republic. It's about individual liberty, as well as our belief in the "Exceptionalism" of America, not about disparaging our country before the world, as the leader of the free world has done, over and over.

It's about our family, our faith and the pursuit of excellence. It's about not being afraid to take a stand, it's about speaking the truth over and over, and not backing down. And it's about the heavy hand of Government control and the dreadful price we would ultimately pay in their dept.

Perhaps more than anything else, it's about just saying no to Government subsidy. "It's about not selling our soul to the devil, whether a corporation or financial institution, whether an automobile co., or Health & Human Services, the answer is NO. The price you see that would be exacted, is much too high.

To sum it all up, when all is said and done, it's really about drawing a line in the sand, and I think it's time.

Send a “Touch of Home” to U.S. Service Members, Veterans and their Loved Ones Worldwide.

The holidays are a special time of year when people around the world gather with family and loved ones. But it is also a great time of year to remember the many men and women, their families and veterans who may be separated or far from home.

Between November 2 and December 7, you are invited to send holiday cards with messages of thanks and support. Red Cross volunteers and Pitney Bowes will screen, sort and deliver your card to military bases, veteran and military hospitals across the U.S. and around the world.
