Sheriff Brown informed the San Saba News that there has been a rash of burglaries out in the county. He stated that right now the suspects are hitting hunters camps and vehicles, but does believe that the suspects can and will hit homes.

Sheriff Brown believes that the suspects are familiar with the area and that is why it is difficult to make contact with them. Additional patrols have been placed on the streets with individuals from the Sheriff's office working extra shifts to help.

Sheriff Brown is asking the community to call in anything out of the ordinary to his office. You can give your name or remain anonymous. Please call 325-372-5551 or 325-372-5432 with any information night or day.

Sheriff Brown stated that we must all work to take care of not only ourselves, but our neighbors as well. Please call in any vehicles in your area especially during late or early morning hours.
