The Church of the Open Door was host of Vacation Bible School July 13-17, 2009. The theme was Australia Down Under. A special blessing for V.B.S. was, we had Tamara Childers as a teacher and she lived in Australia until recently. She was able to explain first hand about the animals, vegetation, & ECT.

The children were taught how to follow God, confess God, serve God and obey God. The day started with song and praise, Bible study, games, snacks, craft, and ended with music and review.

Friday the 17th was concluded with a lunch of pizza. The children invited their parents.
