2 THESSALONIANS 2:8-12 "And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: And with all deceivableness of unrighteous-ness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause, God will send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in un-righteousness."

All people who might be concerned about the sinful conditions of our present world will find a great message in this Scripture chosen for a text. It is a prophesy of the future that is developing right now. The Bible warns Satan will be permitted a short rein to make war against the saints and deceive all who do not put forth an effort to seek the biblical truth that Christ is the only Savior for their soul. He is the example and pattern God has given for all to live this flesh and blood life. That involves refusing the worldly pleasures that bring unrighteousness to destroy their love for God's truth. Can you see all this in the warning Paul tried to show the Thessalonian people? Carefully read it again, it is certain to happen. Evil Satan, as anti-christ, will deceive all who do not turn from Christ and worship him. That will cause the death of thousands and thousands of faithful Christians who will remain true to Christ and refuse to worship him. Many of them will be beheaded by the Muslims who are terrorists. Revelation 2-:4 "(And I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God.") This continues to read that Jesus will bring them with Him and they will be with Him in the first resurrection. The Muslim's favorite way to execute people is to cut their heads off. This may sound scary to you; but please realize it is a strong message from your Bible, and it is positively going to happen. The sad thing is; so many are seeking pleasure instead of Biblical truth, and will be caught unprepared.

Any person who is worthy to be called a Christian will know God has a perfect right to punish sin. They cannot deny; and will also know, today's world is becoming so sinful He may choose to do so in the near future. The Bible gives several examples where God directly brought evil nations against His own people to punish them, when their sins grew so great it angered Him. And it reads their punishment was without mercy. The power of Satan is something to dread and greatly fear; but beware, the power of God is millions of times more powerful than Satan will ever possess. We desperately need to fear and respect Him enough to know every warning in His Holy Word has His power behind them to cause their reality. If a person has never opened a Bible and has never tried to pray, common sense and logical thinking will let them know the world was created at some point in destiny, and there had to be a POWER to do that. Then if they continue thinking, they will realize that mighty POWER was the ONE and ONLY GOD; which is exactly what the Bible will show them. So use the personal mind God has given you to think seriously about this.
