Saturday, May 16th, Travis McGuire, son of Delton and Valerie McGuire graduated from Southern Methodist University. He was given the honor of singing the National Anthem for the graduation Commencement program.

Travis received his Masters Degree in Vocal Performance. He will continue his studies there at SMU. The family had a great day celebrating the event throughout the day having dinner and attending the Music Departments graduation program.

Graduation will be Friday night at the Football Field. I believe there is ten seniors.

We extend our sympathy to Craig Smith, our telephone repairman, at the passing of his Father, Kyle Smith.

Chris and Hank Perry spent the weekend in Forth Worth visiting Chris’ Mother, Elaine Perry.

The Baptist Church had a very sucessful “Youth Weekend”. There was over thirty kids that participated.
