The Freemasons of San Saba Masonic Lodge will meet Saturday evening, June 6th at the lodge hall in San Saba. Members, their ladies & Order of Eastern Star are asked to bring a complimentary covered side dish, salad, bread or dessert. Supper will be served at 6:30 P.M. The main course meal of Italian food will be provided by James Weese.

The charter of the lodge will be draped in memory of I. Craigan Johnson. Brother Johnson was Initiated 6-12-1958, Fellowcraft 8-7-1958 and a Master Mason 10-4-1958 in San Saba Lodge No. 612. Johnson also served as Worshipful Master in 1964 and 1973. He was appointed by the Grand Lodge of Texas as District Deputy Grand Master in 1965 and 1971.

A short memorial service will also be held for the passing of two Grand Masters of the Grand Lodge of Texas; Dan B. Jordan 1973-1974 and Sam E. Hillburn 1979 – 1980.

Lodge will open about 7:00 P.M. All Freemasons are encouraged to attend as election of officers will be held for the upcoming 2009 – 2010 Masonic year.
