Funeral services for Ann Jackson, age 62, of Richland Springs, were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3 at the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Calvin Williams officiating. Interment followed at Richland Springs Cemetery under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home. The family received friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening at Netherton Funeral Home. Mrs. Jackson passed away Saturday December 27, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.
Ann was born December 31, 1945 in San Angelo, Texas, the daughter of the late Walter and Bessie (Boykin) Probst. Ann had lived in Richland Springs for 14 years and was a member of the First Christian Church in Richland Springs. Ann was also a member of the San Angelo Emergency Corp and the Women’s Auxiliary of the VFW in both Brownwood and Eastland. She married Thomas Jackson February 1, 1964 in Mason. Thomas preceded her in death in 2005.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Squires and her husband Greg of Eastland; and Judy Jackson of Richland Springs; two brothers, Wayne Probst of San Angelo; and Billy Probst of San Angelo. Grandchildren, Tiffanie and Ronnie Bishop; Jeremy Garner; Mark Squires; Cody and Leslie Garner; Jacob Garner, Jesse Garner and Bethany Williams; one great-grandchild and one great-grandchild on the way.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jackson, parents Walter and Bessie Probst, and sister-in-law, Valerie Probst.
