Holiday visitors in the home of Flora Bowden were Thomas and Elaine Bowden; Stephanie Bowden Russell; Brad Bowden Family; Carolyn Swindall; Brent Swindall and Children; and the Scott Swindall family.

Avery and Maurine Johnson visited Avery’s sister and family in Nebraska.

Billy and Pam Johnson spent last weekend in Cherokee visiting. They will be moving to Cherokee next weekend. Billy is the brother of Mary Low and Melody Ball.

David Windham has surgery on both ankles on Monday.

Rick and Debbie Dugger have a new granddaughter. She was born last week.

Well, check out Weight Watchers! We are a good support system for you while you are getting to your goal weight.

They have a new plan out that is easy to follow and lots of friends there that cheer you on to success! Losing weight can make all the difference in how healthy you are and feeling about life and getting around. We meet onTuesday nights weekly and weigh in starting at 5 p.m.

Then we have a meeting to let you know all the information on getting started. We meet at the United Methodist Church in Llano (800 Wright Street). We have many friends here in Cherokee that have visited in the past year—come back please. Gas prices have gone down again! Please come! We need you and hope to see you there!
