Our kids gave good effort. We had a chance when we cut it to two, but we just didn’t get it done. Scoring for the Dillos: Ross Williams – 20, George Long – 11, Braden McBee and J Miles – 5, Chance Gotcher and Chase Key – 2, and Hector Jimenez – 1.

On Friday December 19th, the Dillos faced Grape Creek in another road game. After trailing by 12 at the half, 20-32, the Dillos cut into the “Creek’s” lead and trailed by 6 at the end of three, 35-41. In the fourth, the Dillos continued their comeback. With about 15 seconds remaining on the clock, and trailing 51-52, the Dillos had one last chance. We threw the ball in on Grape Creeks end and pushed the ball up the floor and Grape Creek forced a turnover. With 3 seconds remaining, Grape Creek threw the ball in and ran out the clock. “I was very proud of our kid’s effort tonight. This was the first game this year that I truly thought we played like a team. It was truly a team effort.”
