FIRST Ladies of United Methodist Church meet for Christmas Program
Thursday, December 18, 2008 • Posted December 18, 2008

FIRST Ladies of the United Methodist Church in San Saba met on December 8, 2008 for their Christmas program.

All the ladies brought wonderful food to share dinner together. After a short business meeting led by our president, Mrs. Nettie Oma Carpenter, the inspiring program was given by Barbara Gilger.

The members were asked to contribute figurines to the manger as each were mentioned while praying for many people and situations in our world even today. Tracey Thomas read a more modern day manger story involving a missing “Baby Jesus.” Songs tance from a few other members to make the room very festive.

Any lady who would like to visit our group may contact a member or the First United Methodist Church office for times and information.
