We have only received .3 inch of rain in December. That brings our total for the year to 46.5 inches compared to 20.9 last year. It was 22 degrees at my house this morning with a heavy frost and it has been very windy.

Bobby and Helen Deeds had a houseful of company for Christmas including their three kids, Bobby, Brenda and Benny and their families. I won’t try to name them all for fear of leaving someone out.

Curtis and Wilma Lee had a total of 23 guests from Thursday through Monday for the holidays. Curtis said they went through a lot of groceries but they really enjoyed the kids and grandkids. Wilma spent Christmas Day delivering Meals on Wheels in Brownwood.

June Beakley went to Odessa to spend Christmas with Steve and Tammy Beakley. Wanda and Ben Dennis spent Christmas at home in Milburn.

A whole bunch of our clan went to Rex and Amy Tucker’s in Brady for Christmas Eve, then the Subers picked me up and we went to Ken and Lanell Parson’s on Christmas Day. Andy Cummings and H.E. and Aldris Parson joined us there.
