Doug and Cyndi Suggs want to thank all those who came to their open house.

This is something they do every year for the community.

Tiffany Suggs spent a few days last week with Doug and Cyndi Suggs. She helped get ready for their open house.

The Hill Country Toy Run took place last Saturday at the Cherokee Home for Children. Some of you might have heard the roar of the motor cycles as they came into Cherokee. This was the 25th year this group of people has helped make Christmas special for the children living at Cherokee Home. There was lots of food, fun and fellowship not to forget all the presents.

Thelma Herrera would like to thank everyone for all their kind deeds after her heart surgery. She especially wants to thank Jody Simmons for being with her at the hospital in Austin. Thelma is slowly getting better.

Marsha Mckneely has spent the week in Priddy helping take care of her new grandaughter, Sadie Buffe.

Roman, Ross and Dean Maddox spent the week with Roman’s mother, Barbara Maddox. They helped feed the cattle while Roddy was hunting in Pampa.

Mark your calendars for the Cherokee Community Christmas party. It will be December 20th at 5:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Santa will come at 6:00 p.m. There will be a hayride and Christmas carroling. Bring a friend.
