2008 brought two firsts for the Pecan Food Show. It was included in San Saba tourism advertizing and local pecan companies, Millican Pecan and Alamo Pecan, set up booths at the Food Show. They were able to help the visitors who came to San Saba to check out the Pecan Food Show and buy pecans.

The Extension Education Clubs want to give a special thank you to the businesses that supported the Pecan Food Show this year: Alamo Pecan & Coffee, Arrowhead Bank, Bagley Pecan, City National Bank, G & R Grocery, Hamricks, Millican Pecan, Pecan Valley Hardware, San Saba Pecan and the City of San Saba.
