Same old story, no rain in sight. We have had 17.3 for the year so far compared to 46.2 last year. Unless we receive some rain in December, it looks like this will be the driest year since 1983 when we only registered 18.45 inches.

This begins another new month. The 42 tournament will be Dec. 13th in Richland Springs. The Busy Bee quilting Christmas party will be Dec. 9th. and on Dec. 20th we will have our annual Christmas party and program at Elm Grove at 7:00 P.M.

We would like to invite you to join us next Sunday at Holt Baptist Church for our holiday dinner.

Marilyn Suber and I spent the day today (Monday) in Brady. We picked up Jesse and Jaxon Tucker from school and kept them company while Rex and Amy took Georgia to Austin for a check-up. It was a cold windy day but we had a good time with the kids.

News is in short supply this week. Maybe I’ll get some phone calls next week.
