Several members of the 2008 Armadillo football team were selected to the 8-2A all district team.

All district honorable mention honors went to senior offensive linemen Willie Wiley and Fernando Anaya.

Sophomore inside linebacker Tucker Cromer was selected as honorable mention for his efforts on the defensive side of the ball. Sophomore Jack Whitten received second team all district honors as he became one of the best run and pass defenders in the district.

Junior defensive lineman Anthony Salinas was picked as a second team all district player for his ability to attack the line of scrimmage and put pressure on the quarterback.

Senior Bobby Pairett received all district honors on both sides of the ball. Pairett was selected to the first team on defense at inside linebacker after leading the district in tackles. He was also selected as a second team offensive lineman.

Junior Joseph Henry was a first team all district selection at defensive end and on offense at tight end. Henry was one of four players in the district to be selected first team on offense and defense. Junior Chase Key received second team all district honors for his efforts at receiver. Chase played all four receiver spots for the Dillos and proved to be one of the best blocking split ends in the district. Junior offensive lineman Tyler McIntosh was also a first team selection and one of only five players in the district that was a unanimous selection. Sophomore kicker Diego Gonzalez was selected as the districts only first team kicker after a great season of placing the ball on kick offs and his ability to make PATs and field goals.
