Coyotes 38 game win streak ends
Thursday, November 20, 2008 • Posted November 20, 2008

Well, all good things must come to an end and that's exactly what happened last Friday night. The Richland Springs Coyotes, winners of 38 straight wins, fell to the Strawn greyounds by a score of 83-72. It was a hard fought, high scoring slug fest.

The Coyotes jumped out to an early lead, but Strawn's powerful rushing attack quickly responded. It was a back and forth game for most of the night. Some will say it was a disappointing season, but that's hard to say when you're 10-1!

We will be losing a wonderful group of Seniors, but returning a talented bunch next year! I would like to say Thank you to each Senior, (Andrew Fowler, Nigel Bates, Khalid Khatib, Mitchell Jacobson, and Ryan Soto) for the great memories that you have given us Coyote Fans! You are all two time State Champions and no one can take that away! Each one of you not only preformed with greatness on the field, but each one of you are great citizens and great role models for our young Coyotes! I wish each of you the very best that life has to offer after your graduation. Thanks to our coaches for another great season. It is because of your dedication, the Coyote program is the very best in the state! Thanks to all of the Coyote Fans that filled the stadiums each and every night and showed your support! Until next season, so long Coyote Fans, its been fun!
