Pictured in the front row, 2nd from the left is Lisa Torres, and 3rd from the left is Tabitha Berryhill.

These ladies are a wonderful addition to our family here at Eventide, and with their recent completion of nursing school and receiving their licenses, they have brought both determination, and a breath of fresh air with them!

Although their personalities are very different, both of these ladies contribute attributes of many kinds to our home, but are very much alike in the fact that they put our residents first.

Lets get to know these ladies a little better!

Tabitha Berryhill:

If you were a villain, who would you be and why?

I guess the joker...he seems like he has a lot of fun being evil.

What person in history do you find most interesting and why?

I guess I would have to say...Layne Stanley, because I really like his music.

When surfing the web, what subject or websight do you tend to go to?

I usually just get on MySpace.

What unique invention, thought up by you, do you think would be beneficial in today's generation?

Something that would always keep the house clean. (Amen to that!)

Favorite comfort food?

Don't really find comfort in any food normally, but ever since I got pregnant I really like those little Totino's pizzas!

Section of the newspaper you tend to read first?

The part that says who has gone to jail!

Fondest childhood memory?

I always liked watching my sister Beno and brother Billy open their Christmas presents.

Friend that you have had the longest? Stefan Hunt.

Phobia? A boat crash.

What are you most proud of?

Graduating from nursing school.

Who brings out the best in you?

My little sister, Beno.

Funniest show or movie you have ever seen? Metalocolypse.

Lisa Torres:

What is the craziest thing that you have ever eaten for breakfast?

Cheeseburger with tator tots.

What was your most traumatic moment?

It would have to be when one of my closest aunts passed away. I didn't expect it to happen, and I wished that I had spent more time with her.

What is your favorite commercial?

I don't like commercials!

What is the first thing that you do when you walk in your front door?

Take off my shoes, (of course), and then I head to the shower.

Where do you hang the keys?

I don't have a certain spot, and that is why I'm always losing them. I lose them like twice a day!

Who is your best friend?

That's easy...it would be Victoria Mendiola. We have gone to school together since Pre-K, and we even went to nursing school together. We talk on the phone almost every day since she moved to San Antonio.

What time of the day are you at your personal best?

That would be anywhere between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. I am wide awake at that time.

What advice would you give to your children's generation?

I guess that it would be to live life to the fullest, because there's plenty of time to look back later.

Favorite cartoon?

Oh my gosh...it seems like that is all I watch anymore! I guess it would be Scooby Doo, my girls love that cartoon!

Lisa has two children, Olivia and Micayla; and Tabitha has her first child on the way, any day now!

Congratulations Ladies!
