On Saturday October 25th, Tracy & Marci Moreno participated in the LIVESTRONG Challenge Pick A Fight 5K walk/run in Austin, TX. Joining them were Tracy’s sister April Quade from Leander, cousin Yoki Riggs of Algerita and family friend Donnie Lord of Dripping Springs. They walked in honor of Tracy. April and Yoki also walked in memory of classmate and friend, Shelli Dempsey. Tracy completed the walk in the survivor lane while being cheered on he was presented with a yellow rose. Austin participants raised more than $3.7 million dollars, bringing the total funds raised in their 12-year history to nearly $34 million dollars for the fight against cancer.
