The game started with Comanche winning the toss and electing to receive. Oscar Villa handled the kicking duties for the Dillos. He kicked the ball over the Indians kick returner to put the Indians deep in their own territory.
The Dillo Defense took the field looking to get an early stop. Oscar Villa, Kelan Verette, Kolton Ellis, Jordan Watson, and Daniel Calderon made tackle after tackle, but the Indians kept picking up first downs. The QB for Comanche came around the left end and was pushed out of bounds by Cosme Diaz to save a TD. Ruben Aguirre, Geryn Young and Dustin Sloan made tackles, but the running back for Comanche was able to break one up the middle for a T.D. The kick for the extra point was good. 7-0 Comanche.
The Dillos started their drive after a 10 yard kick return by Geryn Young. The Dillos offense couldn't get anything going, so the Dillos were forced to punt. The punt returner for Comanche dropped the punt and Jordan Watson recovered the fumble. Dillos Ball.
This Dillo drive started off much better. Dallas Caldwell made a run of 7 yards to start off the drive. Kelan Verette made runs of 5, 12, 4, 4, and 3 yards to put the Dillos at the Indians 35 yard line. Kilton Ellis made a run of 30 yards to get the Dillos to the 5 yard line. Kelan Verette ran it in from 5 yards out behind the blocking of Bryan Rogers, Oscar Villa, Wesley Gates, Gunner Hibler, Brandon Amstead, and Ashton Krueger. The 2 point try was no good. 7-6 Comanche.
The Dillos kicked off to the Indians. The Comanche returner took the kick off 60 yards for a TD. The kick was good. 14-6 Comanche.
Geryn Young made a return of 15 yards on the kick off. Kelan Verette made a first down run of 43 yards to get the Dillos good field position. Incomplete passes stalled the drive. The Dillos were forced to punt.
The Comanche returner fielded the ball and ran 58 yards for the TD. The extra point kick was blocked by Jordan Watson. 20-6 Comanche.
Kelan Verette fielded the kickoff and made a 40 yard return. He was able to make this return because of the blocking of Ismael Ramirez, Kristian McCoury, TJ Hibler, and Jordan Watson. Verette and Caldwell each made runs of 5, 6, and 3 yards before the drive stalled out. The Dillos were forced to punt.
The Comanche returner fielded the ball and ran 67 yards for the TD. Kelan Verette provided good coverage on the extra point. 26-6 Comanche at the half.
The Dillos received the ball to start the second half. Geryn Young made a return of 20 yards to put the Dillos in great field position. Kelan Verette made runs of 7, 7, 3, 5, and 20 yards. Jordan Watson had a 3rd down reception of 8 yards to convert the first down. However, on the next three plays the Dillos couldn't manage to get a first down so the Dillos went for it on fourth down. The pass to Kolton Ellis fell short and the Dillos turned it over on downs.
Jordan Watson and Daniel Calderon started the defensive series off with a sack. The Indian tailback took the second down pitch 70 yards to a TD. The kick for the extra point was good. 33-6 Comanche.
Jordan Watson fielded the kickoff for the Dillos and bolted up the middle for a 50 yard return. This put the Dillos deep in Indian territory. Kelan Verette made runs of 7 and 5 yards before hooking up with Geryn Young for a 25 yard TD strike. The two point try was no good. 33-12 Comanche.
On the Indians next possession Daniel Calderon made a tackle for a huge loss on first down. The second down dive play was stuffed by Oscar Villa, Ryan Salinas and Brian Rogers and Geryn Young ran in and stripped the ball from the running back and made a run of 7 yards. Dillo's Ball.
The Dillos started their drive just shy of midfield. Kelan Verette made runs of 10 and 6 while Dallas Caldwell made runs of 19 and 6 yards. On third down Verette hooked up with Young again for a 19 yard TD strike. Kolton Ellis caught the pass on the two point try. 33-20 Comanche.
The Dillos attempted an onside kick but comanche recovered. The Indian took a knee and the ball game was over.
