The #3 state ranked Richland Springs Coyotes (9-0) wrapped up their 7th straight District Championship last Friday night when they beat the Santa Anna Mountaineers by a score of 70-0.

The Coyotes have now won 37 straight games, their 69th straight regular season win, and their 34th straight district win. The Coyotes are now 110-8 this decade!

Haustin Burkhart rushed for four TD's (11,17,56, & 61). Abraham Ahumada rushed for a 12 yard TD, Andrew Fowler rushed for a 45 yard TD, and David Veitch rushed for a 22 yard TD, his first of the year. Haustin Burkhart threw 2 TD passes, one to Randy Couch from 13 yard away and the other to Nigel Bates from 41 yards out. Randy Couch was a perfect 8 for 8 on his PAT kicks! Andrew Fowler was, well let's just say, he barely missed his PAT drop kick. Just ask him about it when you see him!

The Coyotes will now host the Veribest Falcons (3-6) for the last regular season game, which is also the Coyote Homecoming game. The bonfire will be on Wednesday night, due to the Jr. High having to travel and play at Veribest.

The Coyotes can be heard on KBAL 106.1 FM or www.kbalfm.com. Pregame starts at 7pm. The Coyote Booster Club's Chili Supper & BINGO will be this Sat., Nov. 8th. Chili Supper will start at 5:30pm and BINGO will follow. We now have over $2000 in prizes! See you there!
