3rd/4th GRADE DIVISION

Shooting Angels 12, Crush 6

Jaycie Johnson, Hallie Taylor and Bailie Santeufemia combined for 6 third quarter points to break a 4 to 4 halftime tie. Johnson finished with 6 points including 2 for 2 from the free throw line. Hannah Osbourn had several key steals for the Shooting Angels. Other team members contributing to the win were Hannah Hibler, Cheyenne Maldonado and Megan Sanchez.

Raley Kirk had 4 points and Paige Sloan added 2 points for the Crush while Linzey Maxcey handled the ball well.

Hot Shots 13, Crush 3

Raylee Pannell scored 8 points and Dynasty Saldivar added 1 point to help keep the Hot Shots perfect with a 5-0 record. Saldivar and Kimeri Moore made several key assists while Abigail Ingram, Brooke Nagle, Aungelique Golding and Brenna Chambers played good defense. Kassidy Ellis had 2 points and Juana Macias added 1 point for the Crush. Erica Vega and Bailey Bush played hard for the Crush. The Hot Shots lead the division with a 5-0 record followed by the Shooting Angels at 2-3 and the Crush at 1-5.

5th/6th GRADE DIVISION

Lady Bullets 14, Lady Extreme 10

The Lady Bullets pulled out a big win over the previously unbeaten Lady Extreme. McKenna Maxcey’s 10 points and Kayla Novak’s rebounding and shot blocking ability led the way for the Lady Bullets. McKenzie Mcbee added 3 points and Shea Scott added 1 point while Mykah McKinnerney, Micah Cox and Breann Hellner stepped up defensively. Ashlyn Turner had 5 points and Joy Trujillo added 4 points while Mercedes Hensley, Shelby Buttler, Maddie Nettleship, Sara Watkins, Ally Bourke and Katy Ingram played well enough to make it a tough and close game.

Lady Swish 14, Lady Bullets 12

Hailey Osbourn hit two big free throws with 20 seconds left in the ball game to clinch the first win of the season for the Lady Swish. Stormy Ramos had 4 points, Leigh Riggs and Alexsandra Gonzales had two points each while Brittney Rixse and Alexus Saldivar added 1 point each. Mary Wright added some good defensive play to top off a great team effort.

Mckenna Maxcey had 10 points, Shea Scott added two and Kayla Novak had several key blocked shots and rebounds for the Lady Bullets. The Lady Extreme lead the division with a 4-1 record followed by the Lady Bullets at 2-3-1 and the Lady Swish at 1-3-1. Saturday, November 8th 2008, Schedule:
