We have had absolutely no rain in the past three weeks. We received 2.5 in October compared to 1.8 in October last year. We are now up to 17.3 for the year and we had received 43.9 at this time last year. There is no rain in the forecast any time soon.

We have begun another new month. The 42 tournament will be Nov. 8th at Winchell. The Busy Bee quilters will meet Nov. 11th and the community meeting will be Nov. 15th. The plans will be made for the upcoming Christmas party on Dec. 20th.

By the time you read this, Thank Goodness, the elections will be over. I hope everyone can band together and make the best of it whether or not your candidate comes out the winner.

The Richland Springs Coyotes handed Santa Anna a sound defeat last Friday night with a score of 70-0. This Friday night is homecoming and the Coyotes will play Veribest for the last regular season game.
