Geraldine (Jerri) Ellen Smith, 66, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away August 31, 2008 in Florida. Mrs. Smith was born in Holly Hill, Florida, and moved back into the Ormond Beach area in November 2007 after living 16 years in Virginia. She was a graduate of Mainland High School Class of 1959, a department store manager for Builders Square and a member of Holly Hill Church of Christ. Mrs. Smith enjoyed yard and garage sales, reading, old movies and was an avid fan of American Idol. She was also an animal lover and enjoyed caring for her plants.

She is survived by her daughter Sherri Morrow of Virginia Beach Va., two sons, Wayne Smith and Wade (Scott) Smith and his wife Karen all of Virginia Beach, Va. Two sisters, Alice Miller of Port Orange, FL and Wilma Lowe of Holly Hill FL. Five grandchildren: Jasmine Shaefer of Germany; Kristoffer Smith, Skylar Smith, Joshua Morrow and Alexandra Smith all of Virginia Beach, Va. Numerous beloved nieces and nephews: and a niece and daughter of heart, Tina Anderson, of Ormond Beach, FL.

She is predeceased by her husband, Ezell and two brothers, Carl and Edward.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Cherokee Cemetery with Doug Suggs officiating.
