Clayton Eugene Johnson, age 55, of Lometa was found dead on October 7, 2008 at his residence. Clayton was born October 11,1952 in San Saba, Texas, the son of Kenneth Clayton Johnson and Lucille Lusty Johnson. Clayton was a rancher and also worked for both Lampasas Cattle Auction and Lometa Commission Company.

A memorial service will be conducted in Lometa at Family of Faith Church at a later date. Clayton's body will be cremated.

Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Tower and her husband Phillip of Alvin,Texas, one son, Sammy Johnson of Austin, Texas and one step-son, Jimmy Luckenbach of El Paso,Texas and seven grandchildren.
