The San Saba County Health Fair will be Tuesday, November 4th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Civic Center. The annual event is sponsored by the Brownwood Regional Medical Center, the Llano Memorial Health Care System, and the Wellness Task Force of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service. Approximately 50 exhibitors will be at this year’s Health Fair.

Special features will include a blood drive, childhood immunizations, blood pressure screening, cholesterol & glucose screenings, body fat testing and flu shots.

Exhibitors include: Central Texas Council of Governments, STAT Air, Everett’s Pharmacy, Llano Memorial Health Care Home Health/Hospice, Hoerster Clinic, Family Planning, American Red Cross, San Saba County EMS, Llano Memorial Health Care Systems-SSHC Texas Department of Transportation, Scott & White Bone Marrow Registry, Heart of Texas Internal Medicine (San Saba Clinic), Juice Plus, Child Welfare Board, San Saba Police Department, San Saba County Emergency Management, Crime Victims Advocate, Dove Project, Brownwood Regional Medical Center (cholesterol), Brownwood Regional Medical Center Lab (blood sugar), Scott & White Health Plan, Hill Country Home Health, Texas Department of State Health Services, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Area Agency on Aging, Family Services Center, Division for Blind Services, Girling Health Care, Central Texas Council of Alcohol & Drug Abuse, Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission, Wal-Mart Vision Center, MHMR, Big Country Health Education Center HCCA -RSVP, Brownwood Regional Medical Center Rehab and Fitness Zone, AAA Medical, Velita Smith Home Health, Botanical Life and Air EVAC Life Team.
