Pesticide CEU Opportunities

If you are needing Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in order to maintain your pesticide applicators license, here is your chance to get 15 hours between now and the end of the year. On October 14, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a Parasite Control Clinic will be held at the Burnet County Fairgrounds meeting room. Two (2) CEUs will be offered at this program.

On October 16, 2008, starting at 1:00 p.m., there will be a Hay Show at the Burnet County Fair Barn. The program will end with a bar-be-cue meal at 6:30. Cost of this program will be $10.00. Five (5) CEUs will be offered at this program.

On October 23, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a Beef Cattle Marketing Program will be held at the Llano County Community Center. Three (3) CEUs will be offered at this program.

On December 2, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a CEU Conference will be held at the American Legion Hall in Llano. Five (5) CEUs will be offered at this program.Pre-registration is required for all of these programs. Please call The Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Llano County, at 325-247-5159 to pre-register and for more details on any of the programs.
