The Jr. High football team had a tough game against the May Jr. High. The Indians not only lost the game, but Stephen Austermann had to have his arm stitched up and Burnam Sloan ended up with a jammed neck from a helmet to helmet hit from a May player.

The Indians scored late in the game on a 38 yard pass play from E.J. Borchers to the outstretched arms of Colton Burris. Colton Cis had a fumble recovery for the Indians.The Varsity Indians defeated the Mullin Bulldogs Friday night, 52-34.

The Jr. High and Lady Indian cross country teams competed in Lometa last Wednesday. Katey Onsrud and Chelsea Fry ran in the varsity division. Judy Fairchok finished 13th in the JV division.

Other members of the JV were Shelby Alexander, Sammy White, and Sara Thomas. The Jr. High team consists of Elizabeth Austermann, Macayla Arms, and Bailey Arms.

Oct. 9th, the jr. high plays at Brookesmith. This will be their first district ball game. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m.

Oct. 10th, the Indians host Brookesmith for their district opener. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 14th, the PTC will meet in the cafeteria at 7:00 p.m.

Oct. 15th, the cross country team runs at Zephyr.

The Corsi, Pool, Kroll Memorial scholarship roping will be Oct. 19th at the Paul Broyles arena.

The Pee Wee flag football team defeated Richland Springs Saturday.

The Tackle football team lost to Richland Springs.

Oct. 11th, the flag football team plays the Lometa Diamondbacks at Lometa at 10:00 a.m.

Oct. 11th, the tackle football team plays the Lometa Hornets at Lometa at 11:00 a.m.
