Wahnella Neeper Templeton

Wahnella Neeper Templeton, 86, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 5, 2008. Wahnella was born October 10, 1921, in Algerita, to Ernest and Nevert Neeper. She was an avid quilter and shared her knowledge with members of the Senior Citizens Center. Wahnella was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church for many years and continued to stay active in ministry.

Wahnella and George E. Templeton shared a wonderful and loving marriage for 54 years. They created many memories and enjoyed traveling together through the years. Wahnella and George have been reunited in the Lord’s presence.

Survivors are daughter, Deana Grubis and husband, Jerry; son, Wayne Templeton and wife, Erma; grandchildren: Toby Grubis, Brian Templeton, Jay Grubis and wife, Missy; Shelly Baity and husband, Eric; and Andrea Owen and husband, Jerry; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Buddy, Joe and Billy Neeper; sister-in-law, Roberta Neeper; and a host of family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 8, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.

Arrangements are under the direction of Laurel Land Funeral Home.
