The opening weekend of the Six-Man Pee Wee Football League is just days away. This league will have four communities competing. These communities are: Cherokee, Lometa, Rochelle and Richland Springs. A total of 103 kids, between the ages of 4 and 11, signed up between the four communities.

The league will have two divisions. Flag football is for kids in Pre-K through 2nd grade and tackle football is for kids from 3rd grade to 6th grade. Forty-two youth signed up for flag and 61 for tackle football.

The season will start September 27th and will end on November 8th, with a Six-Man Super Bowl to be held in Richland Springs. Games will be played every Saturday morning. Flag games will start at 10 a.m. and tackle will start at 11 a.m.

Gate prices will be $1.00 for students and adults. Concessions will be available. Please make plans to come out and support our youngsters!
