The 2008 Homecoming Court will be announced during the Pep Rally on Friday in Armadillo Arena beginning at 3:10 p.m. The Queen candidates along with their flower presenters will walk across the floor of the gym.

Mr. Spirit candidates will also be recognized and the winner will be announced at the pep rally and presented with a plaque by the senior Drill Team and Cheerleader members.

The Homecoming Court will lead the parade to the field from the band hall with the band and drill team following at approximately 6:45 p.m. As they arrive, they will be announced and dropped off at the end of the field to meet their escorts. Each girl will be introduced to the crowd as she walks back across the center of the field around 7:05 pm. She will be presented flowers at this time by her flower presenters. After the introduction, the Court, their escorts, and any other family members that wish to will sit in a reserved section until halftime. The five Queen candidates will be escorted back onto the field at the conclusion of the band performances for the announcement of the 2008 Homecoming Queen. The new Queen will be crowned by Sonni Hunt, the 2007 Queen and taken for a ride around the field in a convertible provided by Kenneth Golding.
