Coyote Pride

The Junior Varsity Coyotes were again victorious in their second game of the year, taking a 51-6 victory over the Blanket Tigers at Blanket.

The Varsity Coyotes were victorious over the Covington Owls at Covington by a score of 62-0. The Junior High plays at home against Lometa Thursday, Sept 11th at 6:00 p.m. followed immediately by the Junior Varsity game.

High school art students will be raffling a Texas coyote plaque at the JH/JV game to raise monies for a campus beautification project.

The Varsity Coyotes travel to Lometa this Friday for a 7:30 p.m. game.

The Coyote marching band under the direction of Dwayne Bishop played at the pep rally and at the game last week. They are sounding gooooood! The band will also travel to Lometa this Friday.

Come out and support the band and the student athletes at the games, you won’t be disappointed!

Students in grades K-12 were treated to a character education program presented by Camfel Productions this past Wednesday.

The program titled “Charting Your Course” was presented in two different sessions, one session for students in grades K-6 and the second session for students in grades 7-12. Our students must not only be well educated when they graduate, they must also be good citizens.

The summer remodeling project that includes air-conditioning in the gymnasium is nearing completion. One unit is operational and was used last week during class times and at the pep rally. The second unit will be online soon and should adequately cool the gym.

Richland Springs is a good place to live and raise a family. We have a great community, students, teachers and staff. It’s great to see our community supporting students in their efforts to achieve. It takes everyone working together to achieve success. Thanks for all you do!
