Technology is a wonderful and powerful tool. Access to the Internet provides parents with many more opportunities to assist their children. If you are a parent of a college student, you are keenly aware of the scheduling, payment and on-line process that the Internet provides.
As parents of public school age students, you too have access through the Internet to some tools that can help you help your child.
Parent Connection is an on-line service provided by San Saba ISD to parents and guardians that allow parents/guardians to monitor the attendance and grades of their children electronically.
Parent Connection is available from the San Saba ISD website at www.san-saba.net. Once you are at the SSISD website, look in the lower left-hand corner of the homepage and click on the link to access Parent Connection.
If you have been registered and accessing this service in prior school years, the account is still active. If you have forgotten your password, please contact the campus office where your child attends school and they will research your password and get back in touch with you.
If you want access for the very first time, you will need to register for the service by accessing the Parent Connection link on the website. This link will get you to the registration page of Parent Connection.
At the registration page you will apply for an account by completing the access form. To complete this form you will need your child’s identification number that is available from the campus office where your child attends school.
Once you have completed all of these steps and submitted the form electronically, your account is sent for approval. If you have trouble getting registered for Parent Connection, please contact the central office for assistance or the appropriate campus office can assist you.
Please remember that our website is the key to keeping up-to-date on school happenings. Please visit www.san-saba.net to view events and find information you need to know about SSISD.
