Estelle (nee Harkey) Wolf, 86 of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on August 19, 2008, at Hospice Care at McKee.

Estelle (aka "Prudy") was born in San Saba, the youngest of three sisters. She lived in Harkeyville and graduated from San Saba High School.

She married James E. Maas, and together they began following dam-building projects.

Consequently, she lived in Texas, California, Georgia, New York and Washington before relocating to Colorado in 1951.

In Colorado, she lived in Boulder, Lafayette, and after getting married to Henry (Hank) W. Wolf, settled in Berthoud and later moved to Loveland.

Estelle loved the Rockies and Broncos and was always ready for a game of bridge.

Although she lived the majority of her life in Colorado, she always had a Texas state flag somewhere and a doorbell that played "The Eyes of Texas Are Upon You."

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Jacqueline Maas of Prescott, Arizona; stepson-in-law, Larry Bartholomew of Centennial, Colorado; grandchildren, Kristin Maas, Eric Bartholomew and Laurie Bartholomew; great-grandchildren, Jason Lopes, Kaeli Lopes, Dalton Bartholomew and Brandon Bartholomew.

Cremation has been conducted, and her cremains will be placed in the China Creek Cemetery near Harkeyville.There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
