Marie Louise Johnson

Mary Louise Johnson, 86, of Hico, passed away September 2, 2008, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. She was born March 13, 1922 in Gonzales County. Mary had lived in Hico since 1981. She was a homemaker and a farmer and was a member of the Hico Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, J.A. Johnson, of Hamilton, Texas; son, Troy Johnson, of Granbury; daughter, Janet Ann Pribble; and six grandchildren: Troy Don Johnson and Michael John Martin; and Debra, Tammie, Carrol and Vickie.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Lena Carraway Waggoner; her twin brother, Morgan Waggoner; and by brothers, Claude and Cleve Waggoner.

Funeral services were held September 4, 2008 at the Rutledge-Jones Funeral Chapel in Hico, with Saul Blair, clergy, officiating. Place of burial following the services was at the Harmony Ridge Cemetery in San Saba.

Services were under the direction of Rutledge-Jones Funeral Home in Hico, Texas.
