Primitivo Zepeda

Primitivo (Primo) Zepeda, 79, of San Saba, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 in Austin, Texas. He was born June 10, 1929 in Baytown, Texas the son of Alfredo Zepeda and Maria Martinez Zepeda. Primo worked in Road construction and was a mechanic. On October 27, 1956, Primo Zepeda and Manuela Ortegon were married in Laredo, Tx. He attended the Primera Iglesia Bautista Chuch in San Saba.

He is survived by his wife, Manuela O. Zepeda of San Saba; six sons: Manuel Zepeda and his wife, Maria Isabel, of Dallas; Primitivo Zepeda Jr. of San Antonio; Feliciano Zepeda of San Antonio; Raul Zepeda of Brownwood; Oscar Zepeda of San Saba; and Daniel Zepeda of San Saba; three daughters: Anita Zepeda of San Saba; Sylvia Z. Donath and her husband, Joseph, of Houston; and Elsa Zepeda and her husband, Shawn, of San Saba; grandchildren: Jessie Zepeda, Marcela Rose, Alex Zepeda, Bianca Zepeda, Issac Zepeda, Marco Zepeda, Vincent Donath, Tommy Galindo, Josef Donath, Victoria Galindo, Tegan Sartor, and Stephanie and Amy Cisneroz; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Alfredo Zepeda Jr., of Laredo; one sister, Maria Ignacia Zepeda, of Laredo; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services were held Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home with Margarito Barboza and Santos Arredondo officiating. Interment followed at the San Saba City Cemetery.

Family requests that memorials be made to the San Saba Animal Shelter.
