San Saba Garden Club's September Yard of the Month
Thursday, September 11, 2008 • Posted September 11, 2008

The Yard of the Month for September was awarded to Larry and Carol Ledbetter at 1103 West Dry Street. They had the house built in 1965 and have been there ever since.

Bachelor Buttons, Caladiums, Red Begonias, Impatiens and Mexican Heather are in the front yard and beside the front door.

The first thing you notice in the backyard is a huge Bougainvillea on a tree stump. Also prominent are a topiary of English Ivy and ferns growing on the ground and in hanging baskets.

Larry used to like to fish alot, but now he takes care of the lawn. Carol takes care of the flowers. It is very pretty and well kept yard.
