Welcome back to San Saba High School! 2008-2009 is off to a great start. Everyone is busy with classes, athletics, and adjusting to getting back to the groove of high school life! By this time, our high school students are set in their schedules and are working hard in their academic classes. If you have a question about your student’s schedule or routine at the high school, please make sure to call the counseling office at 372-3850. We will be happy to help answer your questions. The best part about this time of year is that everyone has a chance to start their academic and extra-curricular year off on the right foot. On the first day of school, all students have a 100 average and perfect attendance! Yes, that may change as we move into the weeks, but we can encourage our students to start off the year by coming to school every day, participating in their classes, and turning in their work…every time. If every student at SSHS would strive to do those three things…then success would follow. Every grade, paper, test, or participation counts from here until the last final exam. Please do not let the school year slip by without asking for help from your teachers or from the counselor. We are here to help you in any way we can to be as successful as possible. SSHS will have morning tutorials in the cafeteria starting soon and many teachers set up tutorials in their rooms during lunch or after school. Below are listed some important upcoming dates:

ACT Test Sept. 13 deadline to register has passed

ACT Test Oct. 25 deadline to register: Sept. 19
