Felts and Wright announce engagement

Mr. & Mrs. John Cayce Felts of San Saba proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Dawn Felts, to Mr. Darroll Geoffrey Wright.

Julie is the sister of Chef J. M. “Mike” Felts of Granite Shoals. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Esther Lewis & the late Mr. Russell Lewis and the late Dr.& Mrs. R.C. Felts, all of San Saba.

Her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. William H. “Trey” Lovett, III, currently reside in San Saba with their baby, W. H. “Hugh” Lovett, IV. Trey is the Physician Assistant at the Heart of Texas OneSource Clinic downtown.

Julie is a graduate of Howard Payne University with a Bachelor of Science in All-level Music Education, and currently resides in Brownwood where she is the Music teacher for both East and Coggin Elementary campuses.

Darroll is the son of the late Mr.& Mrs. Geoffrey Wright of Taunton, England. He is the grandson of the late Mr.& Mrs. William Wright of England and the late Mr.& Mrs. Schaerer of King William’s Town, South Africa. Darroll’s children Danielle, Durc, and Jason all attended Southern Africa Bible College. They reside in South Africa, along with Jason’s wife Natalie and son, Noah.

Darroll, a British citizen, is currently a preacher and self-supported missionary in South Africa. He graduated first in his class with a Higher Diploma of Theology from the Southern Africa Bible College.

The couple will make their home in Texas where Darroll plans to work as the minister of a Church of Christ and Julie will teach Music. It will be the second marriage for both. A winter wedding is being planned.
