Miss Lindsey Long Wolfe and Mr. Levi Adam Sasser were united in marriage at 2 p.m. on the 21st of June, 2008, in a beautiful church wedding in Stephenville, Texas. Pastor Mike Moss officiated the double ring ceremony just after "The Doxology" was played by Pat Phompson, pianist.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Behrens of San Saba, Texas, and Mr. Johnnie Wolfe of Gordon, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Kathryn Long and the late Mr. Thomas Long of San Saba, Texas; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Wolfe of Gordon, Texas. The groom is the son of Ms. Danae Sasser of Lone Oak, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Hanson, and great-grandson of Mrs. Johnny Hanson of Lone Oak, Texas.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her mother as the traditional wedding march was played. The bride's gown had a majestic sweetheart neckline and a A-line bodice with a cathedral train. The entire gown had floral embroidery adorned in sequins, crystals and pearls. She wore a cathedral veil with small pearls scattered over it, and pearls in her hair. Her bouquet was a cascade of gorgeous white and yellow calla lilies, white roses, Hypericum berries and greenstephanotiss.

The mother of the bride wore a tea-length mint green three piece crepe suit. The mother of the groom wore a tea-length champagne dress and a soft floral champagne and truffle jacket. Both wore corsages of flowers matching the bride's bouquet.

A one-hundred sixty-five year old letter was placed next to the unity candles. The letter was written by the bride's great-great-great-grandfather, John Joseph Long, asking for Miss Lorra Elizabeth Hattan's hand in marriage. They married in 1843, had children and many years of wedded bliss in the Rough Creek community in San Saba, Texas.

Jennifer Underwood, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor, and Kynda Edmondson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Crystal Lutsko, Lacy Westbrook, and Kandra Swindle. They all wore full-length canary yellow strapless gowns with beaded empire waistlines, and each carried a long stem calla lily. Their hair was swept back with a calla lily. Karlee Easterling was the flower girl, and she wore a white spring dress with a wreath of flowers in her hair.

Dustin Sasser, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Hanson, cousin of the groom; Josh McCoury, Krayton Kirkpatrick and Robbie Barnard. The ring bearer was Grady Underwood, nephew of the bride. They all wore black tuxedos. The groom wore a white vest and white bowtie. The groomsmen wore canary yellow vests and neckties. Ushers were Britton Edmondson and Jodie Underwood, brothers-in-law of the bride and groom. Miss McKinzey Monseur and Shay Reid sat at the registry.

A beautiful reception immediately followed the wedding. The lime green and canary yellow decorations were striking. The bride's bouquet was next to her cake. The cake was a delicious four-tier creation with each tier a different flavor. The groom's cake was a Hershey's Montana mountain. It also had chocolate-covered strawberries on and around it. Mrs. Jennifer Stewardson served a wonderful lemon-lime punch from a beautiful antique crystal punch bowl. Family and friends gathered later in the evening at "Rockin P's".

The night before the wedding, the groom's family hosted a wonderful steak dinner at The Almosta Ranch. It was catered by Scott Tibbet and his chuck wagon, out of Granbury, Texas. Not only was the food great, but the ranchw as breathtaking.

Mr. and Mrs. Levi Adam Sasser spent the night at The Almosta Ranch before leaving for Riviera Maya, Mexico. Levi and Lindsey will reside in Clairmont, Texas.
